Very lovely spot. Interesting tidal changes...the water goes out like someone pulled the plug out of the bath. Mangroves, heaps of shells and a sign warning about.salt water crocodiles.
To many flys, bbq plates were left dirty, and rubbish left around
Nice place for a pick nick with BBQ, shaded tables in a nice green grass. Beautiful view of the pretty pool. Nice beach for a walk or a swim. Toilets and shower. You don't need anything else.
I used to live right in front of Pretty Pool. The view is spectacular and its a great place to watch the staircase to the moon. Its a nice swimming beach and yes the occasional sea snake would swim past but they were more a novelty than a problem. Sea turtles nest on this beach and youll often see them swimming in Pretty Pool. Its also a good place to catch mud crabs. Be careful where you park your car, the car park floods on extra high tides. The park is a lovely place for a BBQ.
